Kennewick, WA – Columbia Industries (CI), a local non-profit organization, announced the acquisition of Records Management Services, Inc. (RMS, Inc.), a local company specializing in records storage and management on July 17, 2013. The combined companies of CI Shred and RMS, Inc. will join the Columbia Industries family of services under the new name, “CI Information Management.”
“The addition of record storage and management capabilities dovetails nicely with our existing document destruction business, CI Shred,” said President/CEO, Rich Foeppel. “We now have the ability to provide full service information management to our customers, with the added benefit of potentially creating new client opportunities with Columbia Industries.”
Founded in 1963, Columbia Industries is a non-profit organization whose focus is to train and employ people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. CI serves hundreds of individuals each year, while providing a diverse array of products and services.
